Jackie has broken into a museum and stolen a magical artifact that looks like a jewel, but he was shot in the process of escaping.

When he collapses, the stone begins to glow and Jackie is healed.

Jackie can't believe his good fortune, or so he thinks.

After he saves his friend's life, they go into business together. Jackie becomes a faith healer, by secretly using the stone.

Until, one day, an indian shaman shows up and tells Jackie that he must return the stone. Jackie refuses.

An old enemy of Jackie's shows up, begging to be cured; he has terminal cancer. Jackie bargains with him for his life by asking for money to cure him. When the man finally agrees, Jackie finds that the stone no longer works.

Jackie brings in a deaf child and tries to cure him, but nothing happens. He can't figure out why the stone isn't working.
