Daniel Gantt was a Chief Justice of, I believe, the Nebraska Supreme Court. His marker is extremely weathered, and hard to read, even in person. He died in 1878 at the age of 65.
The situation of his grave is unique. He's on a triangle-shaped island, in the middle of the old brick road, all by himself. The island is only about 25 feet from the Morton plot, so if you're there, stop by and take a look.
