There are very few markers in Laurel Hill that have pictures on them. This top photo intrigues me, though; did she die in the flu epidemic of 1917-18? And the exclamation point after “Rest in Peace!” is very nearly a personal plea from someone close to her.

The bottom photo is in Romanian; there are many like it in the cemetery.
