Temple Israel (Pleasant Hill Jewish) Cemetery is located at 42 and Redick Street in Omaha.  It comprises these 3 cemeteries: Temple Israel, B’Nai Jacob and B’Nai Sholem.

They've recently refurbished this cemetery and built a brand new front gate, along with renaming it; it looks updated and beautiful now.  The cemetery meanders all over a very steep hillside and is visually striking.

Emil Brandeis, the only Omahan to go down with the Titanic on April 15, 1912, is buried in Pleasant Hill.
