Elkhorn Prospect Hill Cemetery is located on 21901 West Maple Road on the outskirts of Elkhorn, which is several miles west of Omaha.  The older section was established in the 1880’s, where the many of the names on the gravestones are of German descent and in the German language.  The burial records are kept at the newly built Reichmuth funeral home, which sits inside the Exacto knife-shaped area in the picture below.  In any case, the funeral home is easy to find and hard to miss, and should guide you to the cemetery.

This is a well-kept cemetery, managed by a lot owners’ association.  They have many plots available and new burials are common.
