Vic Morrow and Lisa Pera on the Combat! set.
Per Lynne Tremblay: For Jan. 1965, pic
no. 11, it's most definitely Vic with Lisa Pera of CRY IN THE RUINS.
He was probably giving her directions a scene.

Per
Dodger: June 1965, Photo #1 and November 1965, Photo #54%. Both of these
photos are taken outside the main gate and entry to the chateau at Chaumont-sur-Loire
in France. This location was used for background scenes in the episode
"The Main Event". (Green Recruit and I visited this location
and the Chenonceau location noted below three years ago.)
|
|

Per Dodger: June 1965, Photos # *2, 3%
and 4%. These three photos show the location used in a scene in the episode
"Evasion". They were taken on
the streets of the village of Chenonceau, which is about a half-mile from
the chateau seen in that episode. In Photo *2 you can see the car `used'
by Lloyd Bochner and Rick Jason in their escape, although this car was
in France and neither actor was there.

Per Dodger: July 1965, Photos #1% and
5%. These are P-51 Mustang fighters that
were flown in the 1965 Los Angeles Air Races at Fox Field in Lancaster,
California. Racer #2 is "Seattle Miss" and I can't
currently identify the other aircraft, Race 11? The Reno Air Races started
in 1964 and two `Los Angeles' races were held at Fox Field in
1965 and 1966. Obviously, Earl Parker was a fan of air racing and took
these photos at that event.

%
Per Dodger: July 1965, Photos 2%, 3%,
4% and November 1965, Photo #6%. These appear to be photos taken at Fox
Field during the Los Angeles Air
Race. Photo 6% is a Formula race airplane, #94. This class of airplane
still races every year at the Reno Air Races.

Per Dodger: July 1965, Photo #6%. Earl
took this photo of a WWII era training
airplane, probably a Navy N3N `Yellow Peril' or a Stearman PT13/17 at
some small airport. Note the railroad crossing gates just beyond the hangar.

I've
found some info that Gary Conway (see pic 26 below) was in a pilot for
a TV series to be called "Attack" around this time; this is
the only production that he was in that fits this time period, so this
might be that failed pilot (pics 3 to 53 below). Earl and Angelo De Meo
must have been stuntmen on this, as well as performing a few other roles.
If anyone has other ideas what this might be, please let me know.
